Very clean quiet hotel in downtown Kitchener. Friendly staff and delicious dinner at the restaurant (I had pasta and oysters). Breakfast included -I had eggs Benedict. The only thing is parking at the park are behind the hotel need to walk a minute to hotel front. A bit quiet evening when I checked in solo. Other than that, good comfy bed and clean sheets with great service. Walk to many restaurants within 5mins.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at The Walper Hotel. Check in was a breeze and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had a spacious, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean room on the fifth floor. The bed was comfortable and the pillows and bedding were fresh and new. The a/c was quiet and very effective as the heat and humidity levels were high (around 35-40C). The bathroom was a little small but clean and well maintained. The rain shower was amazing! The strong water pressure and steady temperature made it one of the best hotel showers we’ve ever experienced. We had breakfast at the hotel one morning and found the service to be a little slack and some of the food orders a bit lack lustre (skip the avocado toast!). The hotel is downtown and the main street is bustling with bars and restaurants. We had a great time meandering around the area and enjoyed a vegan lunch at Cafe Pyrus and an absolutely incredible dinner at Tamasha Indian restaurant. It was surprising how incredibly quiet the hotel is considering the lively neighbourhood that surrounds it. We loved the Walper and would definitely stay there again.
