Staff is friendly and professional. Really appreciated the staff who check us in, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued. Will definitely stay there if we are to visit Kyoto again.

Excellent location for our trip!

The hotel was really close to Kyoto station so we were able to take local busses and subway quickly to different locations. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. They stored our luggage and delivered to our rooms since we were a couple of hours early. Upon checkout, we needed to visit a store near the market so they allowed us to store our luggage for about 3 hours before we boarded our train to Osaka. Overall, we would go back and stay on this hotel again on our next trip to Kyoto.

This is a good, economical option if you want to stay near the Kyoto train station -- an easy walk from there. It is generally quiet, though I think this was mostly because I had respectful neighbors (the walls are definitely thin and it would be a problem if the neighbors were loud). Breakfast was bare bones, but fine.

The bathroom walls have molds. The self-serve laundry facilities is not properly maintained. The washer is dirty and the dryer is so clogged that it hardly dries the clothes. Good location though. Close to the Kyoto Station. The staff are helpful and apologetic about the issues.

This was a fantastic hotel to stay at while visiting Tokyo. We were there for one week and it was a perfect location. There are several metro stops nearby, bus stations and restaurants. The hotel included breakfast which is great when you are on the go each day. They have air conditioning in the room which is a must during the warmer seasons. The rooms are a little small but that is expected in a jam packed city like Tokyo. I would stay at this hotel again!

There was a confusion when we checked in. I booked one room that fit four people and when we got there they had two rooms booked for us. So, I kept explaining that I only booked one room and there was only 3 of us. They said that they don't have a room with 3 beds. I kept telling the staff that I only need one room. They were able to place us in one room with three beds, but they charged me for two rooms. The staff was very nice and courteous, but the description in Expedia about the hotel and our reservation was confusing.

Very affordable. Walking distance to Kyoto station is great! Walking distance to Kyoto Tower Hotel is great! If you’re looking for a place to stay that is not as expensive but still very convenient. This is a great hotel to stay at!

We only stayed one night at this Hotel. I dont have any complaints. Everything was fine not the fanciest hotel I've stayed at but not bad. It was a little bit small and there wasn't a view with my room. With the price is paid for a night 40,000 yen i guess i expected a bit more, maybe a view. The breakfast was decent all you can eat for 2,000 yen. The staff was great and very helpful.

Not recommended for triple sharing

The hotel name is a bit misleading. It was not connected or even next to the Kyoto Tower Hotel. Location wise is not too far from Kyoto Station. The hotel provides a full range of amenities at the lobby. We booked a room for 3 adults but what we got was essentially a doble room with a third bed. So it was really cramped. Even the toilet is miniscule.
