My husband and I stayed here for one night and found the staff very charming and helpful. Very conveniently located near the train station. An excellent place to stay in La Spezia! Central in old town, but quick walk to train station & also to bus stop to Porto Venere (Mercato Nord). 2 supermarkets & the town's huge fish & food market, within 1 minute walk. Very good communication pre checkin, actual person available at checkin, who was very helpful (there from midday, until I think 7pm) which also enables luggage storage. Very comfortable bed (not too hard!) & pillows. Building has a lift, yay. Fridge, kettle, coffee maker with decent coffee. Terrific shower with instant hot water. Tastefully decorated room, with chairs whose design enables them to double as tables. Our room was on 2nd floor facing an inner courtyard garden, so it was very quiet.
