Beautifully renovated barn (with pool) in the centre of Laroque des Alberes

La Grange is a beautifully and recently renovated barn in the picturesque Catalan village of La Roque des Alberes, in the foothills of the Pyrenees, just 14km from the Mediterranean beaches and in close proximity to the the Spanish border.

The village of La Roque des Alberes is a vibrant village with a bakery, butchers, pharmacy, small grocery shop and numerous bars and restaurants. There is a market once a week on a Wednesday in the village square. All this is a 200m walk from the property.

This is the perfect location to explore the Languedoc Roussillon, Catalonia and northern Spain. La Roque des Alberes is ideally situated for walking and cycling with many walking and cycling routes emanating from the village.

The area also offers ample opportunities for, wine tasting, visiting local markets including one in the village or simply sitting and relaxing by the pool.

Whether you’re looking for a summer beach, activity holiday or winter break to explore the region (we are also within reach of the Pyrenean ski resorts for the more adventurous), Laroque makes a great base.

We have two private terraces, one of which features a gas BBQ and access to a large garden and shared swimming pool (10m x 4m).

The property sleeps two adults in a Kingsize (180 x 200) bed on the mezzanine level. Upon request an additional bed could be supplied for a child though the property wouldn’t be described as child friendly.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances and kitchenware required for a self catering holiday. Good quality knives for those who like cooking!
