Staff very friendly. But my room needed a door put back on the closet. Some stains on the wall. Bed was clean also the bathroom. No microwave or fridge in room. If your looking for just a bed then its o.k.. No frills.

I was out in 15 minutes

Was booked to stay for a week. I passed the building twice because it looked nothing like the photos provided when booking. First red flag after walking into the lobby, there was a crackhead asking reception if they offered hourly rates and I couldn’t blame her after looking at the condition of the place. But rate was cheap and I didn’t expect to hang out in the lobby so not too bothered, yet. Asked to be put in a room that overlooked the parking so I can keep an eye on the car. They replied that they were fully booked like I’m an idiot and didn’t see a total of 4 cars in the parking lot. Reception was magically able to find the right room available after doing the math. Thought the worst was behind me until I opened the door to the room. It was filthy, stains on the wall which were accentuated with crumbling furniture and the smell of regret. I spent a total of 15 minutes in there booking another hotel before I went back to reception requesting a refund and checkout. Microtel hid behind hotels.com, hotels.com hid behind getting “approval” from Wyndam to refund me. I spent 15 minutes in the room out of a week long stay and they have the audacity to put it through a “review process”. The low price doesn’t justify the issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and the overall unacceptable condition of the property. Looking for a pet friendly clean place where you won’t catch hepatitis, checkout ALoft Louisville East.

I pre paid for our room months prior for a reason. We got there checked in, paid deposit fee, but actually paid for our already paid for room again. So we were down $400 during our trip. We got our refund and the staff was nice, but it’s absolutely unacceptable to double charge. We had to wait till we were already done with our trip and at home to receive our refund. Not to mention our room was tiny and their outside area was directly outside the entrance. So the “regulars” are just outside staring at everyone booking in. I won’t be returning for the simple fact of being double charged. That extra money should have been in our bank account, not held for a refund.

Got to the hotel only to run into issues with them finding my reservation in the system. Extremely panic inducing during a festival weekend with no other hotels available. Hotel feels extremely dated. Room had a very musty smell and A/C unit was dirty. Mattress was very uncomfortable and I woke up with tons of bug bites on my back after the 2nd night.

Friendly people

Great service, realistic workers, really down to earth and willing to conversate. Room was great and cleanliness was up to standard. Just had to make sure to flip on the AC as soon as I got in the room. Great weekend
