We were a family of four visiting for the first time. The resort was clean, the staff was very accommodating. Few things we noticed not a whole lot of an activities at night. Wish the pool wouldn’t close so early 6:00 pm. Overall, we would stay again. The location was great for watching the planes.

I most definitely enjoyed my stay, everyone was so helpful and welcoming. My birthday was amazing. However towards the end of my stay it took house keeping 5 different calls to bring clean towels to my room . Other than that I will be booking to stay at Sonesta Maho again !

Overall, this was a good stay. The staff was not overly friendly, but attentive. The rooms were a big dated, but very clean. Housekeeping was also spot on. Stay on floors nine or ten so you have access to Cloud 9. This is their rooftop bar and has a great viewing area for the landing planes. The food was good, but not excellent as more variety is needed. The beach area is small and I would not want to stay here during heavy tourist season as the kids would be quite annoying. We will go back.

Family of 4 visiting for 1 week. We found the food options wonderful. Kids had lots of options and so did adults. Beach is beautiful and so fun to watch the planes land. I think if you are coming just to stay in a resort for some sun you could certainly find much cheaper all inclusive options but if you specifically want to see SXM this is a great option of a place to stay!

First, we paid a premium for a deluxe king pool view, and upon arrival we were given rooms that were just looking at trees and we were told that what we paid for. The second thing is two hours prior to check out with the do not disturb sign on the door the maid proceeded to enter the room, when I was just getting out of the shower with no clothes on.

I had good time staying at the hotel. The only complaint there was urine stain on the back of the toilet seat and on the bathroom floor. If they can clean it properly that would be perfect.
