We paid for specific rooms and they gave us regular rooms with only a king bed and a sofa. I made a request before arriving at the hotel and they told me no, there was none. They did not help us at that time, they told me that I had to call the agency, I called the agency and the call was disconnected (as a result of this call TMobiel charged me extra to my phone bill) ... and when we went to the room we went to see the room it was a disaster the sofa. I had to return to the lobby to complain again. At that time Carlos Carter and the supervisor helped me a lot. The hotel staff wants to sell you a prepaid vacation. They made me lose part of my vacation day, and it was a waste of time. When we went to ask for towels, they didn't have any, and the person said to come back. I came back later, and they didn't have any either. We were wet all day. The next day, the same thing happened: no towels. We asked again: "Sorry, no towels. Come back in an hour." The bathroom shower had mold. A putrid smell was coming from the bathroom drains. The best thing about the hotel was the coffee and snack section. And the entertainment staff. The Daily Club and Family Club staff. And Mr. Carlos Carter also did an excellent job helping us make restaurant reservations and helping us get into the room I requested when making the reservation.

Food was not great. They sent an invite for VIP dinner and we were excited to go there but first dish they served had flies on it. We told staff and they just took food back, no apologise or no action was taken. Pool is fine. Room is fine.

The lobby is beautiful a lot of walking depending where your room is at. Since all of the restaurants are closed for lunch except for the buffet it is krazy in there the service is horrible you’ll have to wait 20 to 25 minutes to get a drink and if you don’t upgrade to the privilege package the drinks are limited. For dinner @ the buffet the service is better you server like Juan,nereida and Genaro or Geraldo they are always making sure you have what you need. The beach is very rocky and the sand area have softball size rocks and a lot of sticks.

We had a great time on spring break. Our main butler Jose was fantastic and whatever we needed he was right there to help out. Our beach butler Gabriel was also fantastic. He was quick with a laugh and quick with our next drink. The Michael Jackson impersonator show was great. Sakura and the Steakhouse restaurants were very good and so was the buffet. The rest of the restaurants could use some work on the food. Very nice staff and would definitely go back again.

We travelled in a group of 11 (3 families) during march break. While the resort was full, it never felt crowded. room was great, service was great/friendly. The food was very good (better than I expected) - tons of a la carte options, the buffet, the burger place, and "ocean eats" for delivery to our room. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that since we booked through Expedia (without paying extra for the butler service), we were essentially given a butler (Jose Jiminez) who was amazing! He booked all our dinners, and invited us to an exclusive beach dinner. He also reached out and came to visit us every day (we never had to chase him) to make sure we had everything we wanted. If we needed anything extra, he was available by text and took care of everything we asked for (extra drinks, room service questions, extra towels, rides to and from the lobby (upon arrival and departure). The resort was great, but Jose truly made our experience memorable. We asked him after our first night if we could move rooms to be closer to the rest of our group and he made it happen (he even moved our luggage himself). If you are going to this resort, ask for Jose. he was amazing! I don't think we could have asked for more from him.

This trip was everything we hoped for and more. The Blue Team at El Beso were like family and truly made our stay so memorable and fun. We were there to celebrate my Fiancé’s 30th birthday and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time. Special shoutout to Enrique for treating us like family! We loved this resort so much we ended up missing our flight and booking an extra day at the resort. Please I beg, do not listen to any other reviews regarding food. The Food was PHENOMENAL. truly. The food was flavorful and plenty to choose from. Everyone was so accommodating from the staff at the front desk to the waiters and bar tenders. Thank you to the bartender Francis at El Beso. He was so kind to us and made the pool days so fun. Truly have no complaints about this resort. Will definitely be returning. Oh also another major plus : THE CATS!! Pls bring cat food bc there are so many beautiful playful kitties. :)
