The rooms were outdated. Need to be updated. Staff was superb. Everyone was so incredibly nice. Jose, our butler, was AMAZING. I cannot tell you enough amazing things about him. The resort itself is big. It’s very pretty. The biggest complaint is the non stop hounding to buy a timeshare or membership. We are on vaca. We don’t want to be hounded every day while we are eating or relaxing. Again on Jose, he is top notch. He should run that resort. We loved him. Great guy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4.75/5) We had an amazing stay at Oceans El Faro and would definitely come back. Our concierge Reinaldo was INCREDIBLE — truly 10/10. He went above and beyond for us every single day. Any request, big or small, he handled right away and always with a smile. He constantly checked in to make sure we were having the best time and made our stay feel extra special. The resort itself was very clean, the rooms and beds were super comfortable, and the pools were awesome especially the lazy river. The beach setup was impressive too. Even with a group of 5, we never had to wait for chairs. There were activities all day for all ages, which was a big plus. A few things keep this from a perfect 5. The shows were hit or miss some great, some felt like fillers, and the theater volume was way too loud. Steak consistency was also an issue everywhere on the resort even the steak house. Ordering medium rare usually meant getting something totally different. Lastly, personal preference, but surprisingly there were no mango drink options (no mango mojito!).

This was a great trip for me and my children. Resort was very clean, rooms were spacious, property had a lot to do and staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good too! We had a butler named Carlos as part of the customer service team who helped us with our reservations for dinner, if we had any questions, concerns or needs during our stay. He checked in on us every day and was very helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed our experience and would absolutely go back!

L’hôtel est parfait pour les familles. Plein d’activités. La nourriture est délicieuse. Le personnel est très accueillant, les chambres sont propres, spacieuses et bien équipées. la terrasse agréable. Le réfrigérateur toujours full. I had a good time. But I get up early if not I would not have enjoyed myself. There are sighs not to reserve chairs but by 8 there was not one to be had. I sat there reading in the morning and watched one-person reserve 14 chairs. I can't recommend this resort or return for this reason.

My stay at Ocean El Faro resort was amazing! Check in with super simple the young lady that helped me was great. She was able to upgrade my room. The resort is beautiful clean and everyone was super nice. I’m really thankful for Carlos Enrique Buayone my guest specialist that would send me the daily activities every morning through WhatsApp. My room was super clean and so cute with a swim up pool. The food, drinks, club and bars were amazing, I give the resort, a 10 out of 10.

Nice pools and lazy river. Clean rooms, although face cloths and hand towels were hit and miss. Received only one face cloth a total of about 3-4 times in an 11 day stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice view of pool area from balcony. Lots of dining options, nightly entertainment.
