This property is beautiful. The rooms are very large with a large soaker tub. (You do have to plan early to fill the tub) The staff is all very friendly and there is plenty of staff always available. There are many restaurants and the food is excellent. Even the buffet has many options and variety. I have zero complaints only highly recommend this resort for your next vacation.

The property was gorgeous and well kept. The activities staff worked hard and there was a lot going on. The mini-bar was stocked with drinks. The check-in was confusing—person at the desk told me bell persons could get me a room to change but bell person told me to use a bathroom. There was no indication on what time to come back for check-in. When I went back at 4:30–an hour and a half after my check in time they weren’t just able to check me in but had me sit on a sofa for 10 minutes. On check in day I went to a restaurant that was supposed to be serving lunch until 3, but they were clearly closing up at 2:15. Multiple hostesses either made a rude comment about the fact I was traveling solo or didn’t want to even put me on the list for a table. I made a reservation for the hibachi—despite the fact that there was space in the next two tables they seated—they put a chair out for me on a corner where they couldn’t even fit a place mat. Food on the buffet was often cold but water at the beach bar was often not even on ice. At one point I sat at a bar to eat (as had at least two other parties), instead of asking me to use a table staff pretended they didn’t understand me asking for silverware and then a bartender so obviously said rude things about me to the hostess that she actually apologized to me for his behavior.

The room is outdated, the food is traditional American food and the liquor is watered down. I have over 10 drinks and never got tipsy. Even shots didn’t do it which is strange.

Our stay the Majestic was as always excellent. This was the 7th time we stayed at the Colonial. Our butler Edith was amazing she was in touch with us daily and booked everything that we had asked for. We had 6 people in our group and she made our time there truly enjoyable I highly recommend this resort. Also an amazing beachfront. We also love the swim up bar and the great and friendly staff. Looking forward to returning the future.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! We were blown away with this resort. From the minute we arrived to the moment we left, the service was spectacular. The resort is absolutely stunning from all the buildings, the pools, landscape and, most importantly, the beach! Incredible variety of food options (all excellent) and you can easily get a table at any of your choosing. Our Butler, Edith, did a phenomenal job making our stay so special. She organized all of our reservations, and did extra things to make my birthday so special. She truly made our trip perfect. My husband and I usually don't repeat trips, but we fell in love with this place, and we will be back with lots of friends.

We had a fantastic stay at the colonial. Our butler Jacob was very helpful with anything we needed. We loved the restaurants and beach area. Very clean and the whole staff was great!

We got locked out of our room twice. We tried calling to front desk, waited an hour and no one came. Walked, what felt like, 2 miles to front lobby. 2 days later, we were locked out again, walked to front lobby again. Other than that, everything was great! Staff was very nice and helpful.

We loved everything about our stay here! Very quiet and always felt safe and welcome. If I had a complaint it would be most of the food was too salty and some of the restaurant options weren’t that good to us but we would definitely recommend and return!

The property exterior is in need of some attention-due to regular wear and tear. The room was very nice, but the need was not very comfortable and needs replaced. Had a king room. Nice big jetted tub in room. Some rooms also had a tub on their patio. Lots of good selections. Hibachi restaurant was well done. French restaurant not so much. Food quality isn’t the best, but some items were very good and an incredible amount of options. Entertainment was amazing. They were very interactive and entertained all day with smiles and laughter! Servers and bartenders were also great!

Definitely one of the best places that we have ever stayed. I surprised my wife with a trip for our 12th anniversary, and let me tell you she was and is so happy. Food options were excellent, and the service was top notch. I would particularly like to thank our Butler Richard and a wonderful bartender named Maxima.

Lovely resort, wonderful hospitality. However, our rooms were right by a stairwell and it was very loud at all times in the night. Next time, I would request a room further away from the stairs and elevator.
