If you value for safety and belongings DO NOT stay at this hotel. I had a pair of brand new sunglasses stolen inside this hotel, from my suitcase. It was either at reception or someone entered my room when I was out. When I went to report this they told me they would check cameras and key logs. They have checked them already but claim nobody entered my room. The person in charge also mentioned twice, that maybe another guest or person could have entered my room to steal them. This raises all sorts of alarms about the safety of this hotel. If anyone, not just hotel staff, could just enter the room, then how could I feel safe leaving to sightsee? The most they could compensate me with was points for a free night stay, but I wouldn't stay again. (The glasses were €370) I wanted to file a police report and they told me I had to go directly to the office. They knew this because there had been a robbery of a bag on the restaurant earlier. Apparently they have frequent issues with their air condition, we had to change rooms once because the first room we got, the AC wasn't working. We then had to change rooms one more time because the second room had a very foul smell (something between humidity and vinegar). The third room also smelled kind of weird but it was tolerable. The shower doesn't have a door so the water spills out easily. The pillows were good, firm and the sheets felt nice as well. Most of the staff is kind, welcoming and helpful.

Best view I have ever had at a hotel in my life. Staff was nice. The room service came within 20 minutes and it was really good. Convenient tram right at the front of the building. Only 10 minutes to vieux Lyon.

A good hotel well located for the train station . 20 minute walk to old town. If travelling by train access the hotel via Westfield shopping centre, not the road which is seedy. Problem with air conditioning on first night but this was resolved next day.

Every young lady at the front desk was warm, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The men mostly acted like I was inconveniencing them (I had only 1 positive interaction with the men). However, I will return to this property because the foyer is huge, bright, and airy—unlike anything anywhere except Las Vegas. The room was spacious by French city standards, clean, bright, and with a truly unbeatable view. It was an oasis but so conveniently located directly in front of the tram and an uber was always only 4 minutes away. I stayed in the room a great deal because I was tired of the city and THOROUGHLY enjoyed the room. I’m returning for sure!

Interesting, thanks the reception desk is on the 32nd floor and our room on the 38th floor. That requires two separate elevators but you do have a spectacular view. Our booking entitled us to a free drink. We went to the bar where we were told that only included wine and no cocktails. Kind of cheap I’d say considering you could walk down the block and get an Aperol Spritz for €6! And we probably would have bought 2 or 3 more but instead we drank our small glass of wine and left the bar.

HOTEL SOLD MY PRE-PAID IN ADVANCE ROOM AND CLAIMED IT WAS NOW FULL! I had prepaid a twin bed hotel room over a month in advance. Was disgusted to find when arriving at 10pm that night that they had sold my room and the hotel was 'full'. Complete lack of ownership from the hotel and couldn't explain why they had sold my already paid-for room. Offered me a taxi and another hotel 15 mins away by car. I asked for the manager and told they weren't available. Only by standing my ground and insisting on a solution did they eventually call the manager. He simply confirmed the hotel was full and couldn't explain why my room had been sold. I told them this was their issue to solve. After a few minutes following this call, miraculously a room was then found in the 'full' hotel for us to check in. There was a greeting card pre-written in this room for another guest so clearly this was being kept for another guest or the next day. Horrible experience and not what I expect from a Radisson or being an Expedia VIP customer for many years. Had I not held my ground under considerable pressure, we would have ended up nowhere near where we needed to be for the short visit to Lyon.

Outstanding staff

Check in is on floor 32. We were greeted by wonderful knowledgeable staff and our room was on the 37th floor. The room was a great size and absolutely spotless. The bathroom was perfect with everything you need. The hotel is in a good position for shopping, however transport is difficult due to the construction works. If I have one negative then it's the heat in the room which is far too hot. We will definitely be back that's for sure.
