This place is a great find for the price. The most attentive staff ever, seems that they anticipate your needs even before you ask. Heidi, Anibal and Danny were the BEST! Gave me many incredible recommendations and tips. There is a convenient parking right across the hotel, it has limited spaces but it’s super practical if you can find a spot. All the premises are camera surveilled. The room I stayed in was small, single. I have to say it’s very compact but clean. The hotel is located 5-10 min walkable distance from Mayaguez square, bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Locals are kind and friendly no matter where you find yourself. I recommend this place.

Muy acogedor, limpio, buen a/c. Ubicacion céntrica con facil acceso caminando a tiendas, restaurants, iglesias, sano entretenimiento, a todo lo necesario para una buena estadia. Estacionamiento gratis y seguro. El personal de recepcion y los empleados en general son muy atentos.

Perfect For Me

Hotel Colonial is perfect for me when I stop in Mayagüez: clean and tidy, a corner around the Cathedral/plaza, and reasonably priced. The hot shower was perfect to end my busy day and get a good night's rest.

I didn't like that it was much smaller than what it appears on the photos. The photos are not an accurate representation of how small the room is. There wasn't even a space for a small desk or chair.
