This hotel was awesome!! The room was great with a gorgeous view. The staff and service was excellent!! The food was amazing!! With 3 a la carte restaurants, 2 buffets and a beach grill, there were grest choices! The beach was incredible with fun waves for boogie boarding. The pools looked like a lot of fun, but we love hanging out on the beach. We took our own sun shades since the palm trees on the beach did not give enough shade. Add beach palapas!!
Only 2 negatives;
- the elevators were awful. Even though there were 4 of them at our end of the hotel, they would often bypass our floor. We had to wait for 5-10 minutes sometimes.
- at around 2-3pm every day, private bands would set up on the public beach in front of the hotel. Even one would take away from the amazing serenity of the beach, but there were usually 3-7 bands within a few hundred yards of each other, almost competing with each other. We could even hear them in our room and would turn on the tv to drown out the noise. The hotel posts a disclaimer in the lobby and on the website about it being out of their control because it is a public beach, but it is the only reason we would not go back. So sad to say because we absolutely love everything else!!!
