Fantastic place

The hotel and grounds were fantastic. Free entry into mansion and beautiful gardens. We accessed the spa facilities and had complimentary drinks on arrival. The hotel was good value for money. Liked the added extras such as the extensive pillow menu. Ate in the bar area which was a bit characterless as it was empty and i thought the food was average. The restaurant was beautiful but none of the meals appealed to us and we thought it appeared quite expensive. However the views were amazing from there. Would recommend this hotel.

Character hotel exuding history & tranquility

Pros: Colonial style character building exuding an abundance of history and character. Chirnside Manor dates back to 1870s and the Hotel 1920s
Location: Onsite Museum and is next to Werribee Open Zoo (bookable through the hotel), Shadowfax Winnery and a short drive to Geelong.
The Mansion Hotel & Spa at Werribee Park is a delightful place to stay and to relax. The hotel facilities, which include pool, spa & gym offer excellent facilities to enjoy your stay. The large pool with combined jacuzzi is a great facility. However, the additional facilities which includes the large park grounds and the Chirnside Manor museum are truly amazing and welcome additions and free to guests and add to the character and charm of a stay at the Mansion Hotel. The grounds and beautiful gardens can be enjoyed as part of a morning stroll after breakfast. The local ShaddowFax Winnery is only a short, 5-minute, walk or drive where you can taste some amazing, freshly prepared cuisine or indeed partake in some free wine tasting, courtesy of your stay and at the Mansion Hotel. Also, a great bonus for those interested in wildlife is an open zoo which is part of the Werribee park and bookable through the hotel with a small discount.
