A lot of people walking around the area who didn’t seem to be staying at the hotel. No shuttle to Graceland. No credit card service.

A tired property

A very tired hotel in a sketchy neighborhood. Now that they no longer have an airport shuttle there isn't much reason to stay there.

I stayed for 2 nights at the Wyndham Travelodge and was extremely disappointed. The photos advertised online are nothing like the reality. The room was dirty, the TV didn’t work, and the iron had exposed wires – a clear safety hazard. Electrical sockets were hanging out of the walls, the hairdryer barely functioned, and the windows were in a disgraceful state. The air-conditioning unit was filthy and unbearably loud. Lamps were broken, the carpet was sticky and grimy to the point I had to keep my shoes on, and the whole place had a foul smell. Even the vending machines were poor – full of condensation, meaning the food inside couldn’t possibly be stored at a safe temperature. Given this property carries the Wyndham name, I expected far better standards. Wyndham should be inspecting this hotel, and platforms like Expedia shouldn’t be advertising it in such misleading condition.
