Upon arrival the first day at night after checking in theu said the elevator was out of service and woule be fix the next day. Elevator was fixed the next day but it broke again and this was the story all week we stayed there 7 days and out of that 5 days the elevator was broken. To go up and down to the 3rd floor several times a day is not what i expected. Also our key didnt work several days either so we had to do another trip to the bottom and get it programmed again and then up again. I asked to speak to the manager but was never available i asked them to let him know to call me but he never did. I wish i could recomend it but i can't and j will probably won't stay there again. Buffet up on 4th floor is ok. Coffe and fruit and a coupoe of warm dishes. The workers there are nice and polite.and the issues we had are above them.

Hotel is situated in a great location . The superior studio was amazing and our housekeeper Victoria made sure we had everything we need to make our stay more comfortable . Breakfast was disappointing , there was not a lot to choose from We ended up eating breakfast somewhere else .

The Positive: The room was large and clean. The air conditioning worked well.The breakfast was good with a variety of choices. The hotel is centrally located. The Negative: We stayed here on our arrival, and before our departure from CMDF. Both times there was confusion about checking in. They couldn’t find our reservations at first (both were made through Expedia). It turns out that the reception desk handles check-ins for both the hotel and a hostal next door by the same name. Once they found our reservation in the Hotel, their demeanor changed and they were friendly and allowed us to check in an hour early. The elevator was out of service about half the time we stayed there, which required us to go up and down two or three flights of status. The stairs just barely had a handrail. On our last morning there was no one available to help us take the bags downstairs, so we had to carry them ourselves so we could get to our Uber. The key cards only worked half the time. When they wouldn’t open the door, we needed to go back down the stairs (or the elevator) to have them “fix” or reactivate the cards. This became pretty tiresome, as both my husband and I are in our seventies and Mexico City is at ~7,000 feet above sea level.
