DISTURBING EXPERIENCE:
Initial Room Conditions:
-Sticky coffee spill in front of fridge. Had to clean it myself.
-Broken drawer injured leg; staff unable to fix—left exposed for entire stay.
-Overnight Chaos:
-Headboard lights in Room 405 could not be turned off.
-Staff failed to resolve; forced to switch rooms in the middle of the night.
-1:39 am: Elevator sign fell and shattered unprovoked.
-1:40 am: New keys didn’t work in elevator.
-1:45 am: Room 402 had beeping fire alarm.
-Security guard took another 30 mins to fix—finally got to bed at 2:15 am. Had to wake up at 6:00 a.m. for professional conference.
Issues in New Room (402):
-Room clock was 10 minutes slow—caused lateness.
-Inside door light switch and bathroom mirror light did not work.
-June 2–3 (after midnight): Shower only had cold water.
Major Additional Concerns:
-Police called due to drug use in rooms on our floor—poorly handled over the phone in public.
-Staff in street clothes and always on personal phones.
-Wi-Fi was unreliable May 1–3—disrupted ability to work.
-Elevator smelled of marijuana, cigarettes, and chemicals consistently.
-Room never cleaned, restocked, or refreshed in 5 days—despite hotel’s stated policy. Comically bad service.
Insect Infestation:
Large crawling insects seen on on multiple days—especially near bed and baseboards. Documented in videos.
Customer Service & Resolution:
No proactive apology or compensation.
20% refund initially offered, then denied due to Expedia booking.
