Great hotel. Great location - easy walk to many amazing restaurants. Our room was beautiful - very clean and bed was comfy. My only complaint was the noice on our floor. This complaint obviously has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel, but rather the courtesy of the guests. Awoke multiple times between 1am-3am due to loud guests.

Gave them a second chance

Enjoyed my second stay much better than my first stay. The decor is very artsy, which I love. I enjoyed the art exhibits and the restaurant. During my first stay, I felt that I was being judged by the manager on duty because I didn't look like the young professionals mingling in the lobby (I'm about twice their age). She claimed she couldn't find my reservation, which was eventually verified. I was glad we gave them a second chance.

After a 5 day stay, I’d say this is a gem of a hotel. The food at Aria is exceptional. The art work all around is visually wonderful. There are many little details around the hotel rooms that are obvious someone put lots of thought into choosing everything that’s put in a room. The pizza at Proof is as good as NY pizza. All the staff we interacted with were very nice and kind.

Coolest hotel ever!

If you like generic don't stay here! Art work, art work everywhere. So much thought put into every corner of the hotel. The life size driftwood horse in the lobby, the fantastic bar, the gallery, the little touches down to the cutain holders, an amazing place. Borrow albums from the front desk for the record player in the room. Play the ukulele in the room. Thumb through the art books in the room. Art in the shower tile, art in the bar soap, create your own art with the colored pencils and roll of paper in the room. Talk with the artist in residence. In the heart of the theater and art district 1/2 block from the Milwaukee riverwalk.

Lovely hotel with nice staff

Great hotel, would stay again! Although the turntable in the room didn't work, it was a nice touch, but it would be better if it worked. Staff were great, the room was wonderful and the bubbly at check-in was a nice treat! The art gallery was great as well.
