A GEM! Will stay here again

Stylish, well laid out, fun, welcoming -- I could go on! I will absolutely stay here again. I was visiting for work, so I happened to grab breakfast at Tullibee downstairs each morning before I headed out for the day. I would visit just to eat there again! Overall, highly recommend. I was sad to leave.

Nice modern hotel in old mill structure. Restaurant was great and enjoyed the roof top hot tub in the cold weather, plus the sauna! Had a great stay!

This property is beautiful. My friends and I frequent this place a few times per year. A bit on the pricey side but for hot tub and sauna in the winter time: WORTH IT!

The Hewing is a beautiful hotel but the service and ambience is subpar. I was disappointed about the 5 star price but 3 star service. The bartenders and waiters are understaffed and unfriendly. The valet was slow. There should be attendants at the door to help guests bring in items and luggage. We also tried to go in the hottub but there were 21 people (when the limit is 13).

Staff was indifferent about the 6 inches of snow and slop at the valet parking / drop off location and did nothing to resolve it overnight after the snow had stopped. Poor customer service and customer experience despite $52 per night valet parking charge.

We had such an awesome staycation! We stayed for a thanksgiving night celebration and it was perfect! The room was spacious, we had dinner reservations at the restaurant downstairs and the food and drinks were excellent! We spent the rest of our night at the hot tub in the rooftop with cocktails! It was such a great vibe— hot pool, downtown view, cold weather, and drinks! We got to know people as well and staff were extremely friendly :) will definitely be back!
