We are very disappointed to arrive to find that the entire front entrance of the property under construction. We had to enter and exit through the back door which was poorly lit and needed a room key (hard to have a room key until registered) and go past the laundry. It was an overall very unpleasant experience. I have stayed at this property several times and normally it is quite nice.

Shuttle was great, front desk staff were very friendly. I was starved and ordered some food. My meal to go was ready in 10 minutes and was absolutely delicious. . There’s some construction going on to make some improvements, but they had a makeshift entrance at the back so no big deal.

Gave away our room because our flight got delayed on the tarmac. We landed at 1215am instead of 11:15pm and imagine our surprise when we showed up and they gave us an excuse that hotels.com cancelled our room request and they no longer had a room for us. Hotels.com had just emailed us 4 hrs earlier telling us it was time to check in. Stranded with an 11 yr old at 1am. Save your vacation funds for an establishment that cares.

Bring ear plugs, it’s right next to the airport, but it’s a great place, close to the MOA and a great place to stay and leave your vehicle in the lot (for a fee) if you are leaving from MSP Airport. Shuttle service is awesome!

I had a prepaid reservation for Hyatt Place. My flight ended up being delayed and as a result I arrived at midnight instead of 8pm. I had called the hotel earlier in the day to make sure they knew my flight was delayed and to make sure there would be no issues with my reservation. Once I arrived at the airport and called the hotel to get a shuttle they informed me they had no rooms left at the Hyatt Place but they had a room at a different hotel. The shuttle picked me up to take me to the other hotel and that’s when I found out the hotel was significantly farther away. I had picked the Hyatt Place because of the location. I was in town due to the death of my brother and needed to be close to other family members. Because at this point it was after 1am and I needed to get up early to get back to the airport to pickup the car I had rented (I arrived too late to pick it up that night/morning) I just didn’t have the energy to argue with them and put up a fight. However, now I want to leave this review. My reservation was paid for and they knew I was coming. This should not have happened at all. It made it much harder to drive around to attend the funeral and visit family because I was now staying much farther away. Very disappointing!
