"Great little hotel on the edge of old town. Breakfast is available for purchase but the Pastelaria across the street is amazing…don’t miss out on the pastel de nata and espresso! Everything is completely walkable and we had the best time there! Faro is small town friendly and we’ve never felt safer walking streets and back alleys at night. Take the tuk tuk tour to get an overview of the area and pay attention to the guide…he was a living history book and we had a great idea of what we wanted to see and in what order afterwards. Faro was amazing, you won’t regret your visit or this hotel. "

"Felt very clean and upmarket, staff were friendly, and the room was luxurious and spacious. Be mindful, though, that extras can get quite expensive - the spa (100€+), renting a bed at the beach (50-80€), food (60-80€+ for 2), etc."
