Stayed one night for a family event—my first visit to Quebec. The hotel’s location was convenient for driving in and out. I appreciated Amanda at the front desk, who kindly assisted me with retrieving my IHG membership information so I could check in early. The room was generally fine, but there was a strong odor in room 522. Upon checking, I noticed the smell seemed to come from the AC unit, which had visible black spotting across the fan section. This should be addressed by maintenance. At checkout, I stopped by the dining area to ask if there was a place to heat my food. The staff member (Latino looking guy) I approached responded not with a greeting, but with “Do you work for the hotel?” in a dismissive tone. When I clarified I was a guest, he reluctantly directed me to the back. After heating my food, I considered sitting to eat, but he quickly came over and told me, “No, no, this area is for my guests. You can’t eat here.” I asked where I could sit, and he replied, “I don’t know, but the rules don’t allow outside food.” I understood the policy, but his tone throughout was condescending and unwelcoming. I left feeling singled out and disrespected, which was disappointing compared to the otherwise positive service I received at the front desk the prior day. Customer service, welcoming, and respect, should be the standard for all guests and colleagues of the hotel.

Everything was great except the air conditioning unit in my room. It worked very well but vwas super loud, and so I could not sleep with it on. However, as I was on the sixth floor, it was very warm in the room. That’s all I would say. The rest of the stay was great.

The parking lot is currently very small. Other vehicles parked so close we had issues getting out when leaving. Our room had garbage in the bathroom, opened and used sugar scrub packagings. We didnt get enough towels for 4 people. No extra toilet paper.

we ordered 2 rooms, and had to request a new room once arrive, all 3 rooms had a moisture odor problem- like an old barber shop with a faulty AC. One day they didn't clean our room, although we left the door tag requesting it. the rooms and corridors are a bit too dark. The place has potential.

The staff were supportive and friendly. There was a strong musty smell in the room. The smell got worst whenever the A/C turned on. We asked for a room change. The new room had the same problem, although not as severe as the other room.

Weird smell but great location

The hotel grounds itself was great and a was a good location to drive into Montreal. The room upon entering smelled like it had been shut for months and before it was shut someone spilled a bottle of hard cider on the ground. It was cramped space for a room with two beds. The air conditioner vents were directly touching my feet as I slept. In the morning my partner asked the front desk if there was a microwave and fork she could use. She was directed to the restaurant where she asked the man working and he grunted and pointed over at a table. She grabbed a fork and then was yelled at saying “those are for paying customers only!!!” Then the manager came out and huffed rolling her eyes and gave her a wooden fork. Such an odd experience. Other than this it was a fine one night stop. I’d say from our experiences it gets a solid 3.
