One of the worst experiences. Hotel said though they see my booking through expedia, but it's not synced with their system, so was going to charge me a second time. It took 1.5 hours to sort out. Then the room had a broken heater, and it was -20C that night. The carpet was dirty. The bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very basic, and the restaurant was not open during the day for me to use my food voucher.

The staff is absolutely wonderful! Very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The location of the hotel, directly across the road from the metro station, is perfect for access to public transit to Montreal and surrounding areas. The room was clean overall, but vacuuming could have been more thorough. I appreciated the eco-friendly options for housekeeping and clear instructions for how to choose your level of impact.

The hotel was in a good location. The room was quiet nice and clean. The carpet did smell a little musty. The bed was so comfortable. The parking was good although it was difficult getting the gate to lift to get out. I just pressed the help button after the second day. I would return to the Sandman. One note it did snow and the grounds were not cleard off and the sidewalk was scary my husband had a walker.
