The cottage was as described, and it was easy to find. It was also very close to everything, such as food, shopping, parks, and downtown Mt. Dora. The property is very pretty with a great view on the lake, and a nice dock with seating areas. We enjoyed sitting in front of the lake drinking wine at the end of the day. Very relaxing. It is extremely clean and has all necessary items to make you feel at home. We slept on the King bed, and it is probably the best bed we've slept on in any bnb we've stayed in! We would definitely stay again.

Everything was great. Convenient for a short drive to town. Loved being by the lake. Nice kitchen, everything was clean and the bathroom towels were nice. I suggest better lighting on the bedroom, it's really dark in there! Thank you!

Quiet Getaway close to Beautiful Mount Dora

From the moment we turned down the private lane and saw the beautiful lake view in front of us, we knew we had made a Great Decision to book the Lake Cottage! Check-in was easy and we were welcomed to a wonderfully designed space full of thoughtful details. The cottage has a full kitchen with all the essentials that one could hope for (including a Kuerig). Each of the two bedrooms was beautifully decorated and the bed that was chose was incredibly comfortable. . . the best night's sleep we have had in awhile! The bathroom has been beautifully redone and provided plenty of storage, soaps/shampoo, and a generous sized quartz countertop. We spent each morning and evening out on the screened porch enjoying the peace and quiet and lake view. The Lake Cottage was an easy drive to Downtown Mount Dora, offering a wonderful selection of quaint shops and restaurants. We appreciated the close proximity as we found ourselves enjoying walking around the picturesque neighborhoods and then escaping back to the screened in porch and solitude. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and are planning our next trip to the Lake Cottage and Mount Dora. Thank you for sharing your Wonderful Vaca Rental with us... We can't wait to come back!

Awesome place on a beautiful lake!

Just a quick 2 day trip but it was wonderful. The place was very comfortable, with a nice living room, modern kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms, a fire pit, and a screen room. It was private and close to everything. . everything!

We booked this location because of its proximity to the venue where we attended a wedding. It was perfect for our weekend stay: quiet location with everything we needed nearby, comfortable beds and couches, and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!

Cutest cottage on the lake with the friendliest kitty we have ever met

This place is adorable , loved the location. Great for spending time in Mount Dora. Great big backyard to walk to the dock. Reminds me of being a kid and summertime in Florida just peaceful and one with nature. Will be returning for sure.

Our Deposit was Wrongfully Kept

We were very happy everything was wonderful and what we wanted until our deposit was wrongfully withheld. A video was sent with the toilet being completely loose. There was no way we did this during our stay we definitely would have noticed. It is obvious the damage was caused through years of wear and tear based on the video provided. We will be disputing the charge with our credit card company.

Christmas Cottage

Our visit was the week of Christmas to celebrate with our daughter and her family who live nearby.The cottage, property, location and kitty Lightning could not have been more perfect for us. The cottage was aesthetically pleasing but also super comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we needed to make it our home away from home for the week. The property is lush, landscaped and well maintained which adds to the beauty of the lake. It was a working holiday for my husband who telecommutes and he had no complaints about the internet connection. Overall, it was a peaceful 7 days and we will definitely book again.

Team Effort!

We had a lacrosse tournament 12 minutes away so we rented most of the block together and had a barbecue and a convenient drive to the fields for the tournament. The house is clean and just as advertised it was a great time.

Perfect For Mt. Dora Getaway

Very nice lake property close to Mt. Dora. Must like cats as the cat definitely knows when you arrive or go down to the lake. It purrs as soon as you go outside to sit on the porch. Place was clean and owner was very responsive.
