Easy to get to Hampton by Hilton Munich Airport South after picking up rental car at the airport. Not very busy on Good Friday. Free buffet breakfast was terrific...eggs, croissant, hash-brown patty, meatballs, coffee, juice, fruit and more. Nothing of interest in the surrounding area, but that is not why we came here which was convenience to airport and free breakfast.

I wanted to be next to the airport to avoid delays for my flight the next day. Basically saving myself 30 minutes by train from Munich. Not worth it, avoid this place unless you want a basic bed with no good food options while being overcharged if you take a taxi to the airport - 30 euros for - 5 minute ride The hotel does have a shuttle to the airport for 6 euros a person but if ur coming off of a flight good luck The food options are worst then a 7-11/gas station No fridge in ur room and no real entertainment channels except news I asked a staff member for dinner options. We. Walked to the suggest locations to find them both closed, opens after 5:30pm which she didn’t tell us so we walked there for nothing I would not stay here again if it was free

Beware transport pickup NOT at airport signage?

Even though we contacted Hampton about shuttle pickup with directions.... NO transport ever arrived.... We did get compensated from return to airport... But had to pay for Uber at $28... Lots more expensive Unable to upload photos on hotels.com... why?

The hotel is nice, and the staff is friendly. However, there is no shuttle service from the hotel to the airport during the day—only from the airport to the hotel. This was not mentioned during the booking process, so I only found out upon arrival. Because of this inconvenience, I’m giving it a 4-star rating.
