Excellent service, comfortable room and a great location! We did not have shampoo in our room. I suspect that was just by accident. I would suggest having two bars of soap for guests, one for the bath/shower plus another for the sink. The history of the hotel was also changed interesting. We would definitely stay at Hotel Torbrau again if we get a chance to return to Munich

A historic gem

I was impressed with the level of service and comfort that we received during our recent stay. Our room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. The hotel is situated conveniently in the old city making sight seeing very convenient.

This hotel is in the perfect location for walking to many of Munich’s top sites. It is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a delicious and hearty buffet breakfast that is worth the price. We especially appreciated the friendly and knowledgeable staff who answered our many questions, arranged transportation, and welcomed us throughout our stay. We highly recommend Hotel Torbräu!

The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to Marienplatz and well connected. However, the staff is unfriendly, the facilities are aged, the room is uncomfortable, the bathroom is extremely small. It serves a good breakfast with very good service but lacks a restaurant if you prefer to stay for dinner at night
