Susana was the perfect host, friendly (she spoke to me in french), professional and greeted me with a smile. The room showed some minor damage (it was probably why I had a good rate). Very nice hotel that I would recommand.

The Grand Hotel is a beautiful and clean building with friendly staff that I would stay at again. However I would have preferred if the room stocked tea as well as coffee, for non-coffee drinkers. Also, I would not recommend visiting this hotel unless you are driving as the walkability is really poor.

The property is quaint and well presented. The decor when you walk into the lobby is very interesting and welcoming. The room we were in was very quiet and clean. The decor is starting to wear is the only comment I have. I would recommend this Hotel in Nanaimo.

Wonderful

So nice! Very clean and even our dogs seemed to relax in a new and unexpected environment. It had a nice little kitchenette and a very spacious king bedroom. Staff were always happy to accommodate our needs. Not our first week long stay. Wonderful!
