This hotel HAS NO ON SITE PARKING despite what is stated in the Expedia listing!! Your only option is to park off site and pay £17/day. This is a discount from the £22/day that the garage charges, if you get your parking ticket validated at the hotel prior to leaving, and is a 4 minute walk to the hotel. Other than that, the hotel is nice within a short walking distance to many shops, restaurants/pubs and of course, St. James Park, where Newcastle UFC play.

Good location with discount parking nearby

Good location, parking nearby, discount for the parking. Kitchen area spacious, bedroom area not so good with the sofa bed out. The bathroom was nice but the bathroom door was noisy to close and once closed it swung for a few seconds clanking. It was also very hot.

noisy and no air con.

the bedrooms have no aircon which i had failed to check considering this hotel isn’t a old property. My room was like a green house, unable to get ready for a night out as the heat was so un bearable, we had to do our make up in the corridor as was slightly cooler. The rooms were airless, provided with a shop bought small fan which just circulated hot air round the room. The room is above the extraction fans which you can hear all night. i have stayed in this hotel b4 and have to say after the 2nd visit i shouldn’t have returned.

Hotel is ideal for being in centre of Newcastle, handy for st James's park. Nice bar next to hotel too for a quick bite to eat

The room was really nice but was like a sauna and had no air con just a heater. There was a small desk fan which was just blowing around warm air as we couldnt open the windows for the noise of the generators right below us. The bed was really comfy though. Breakfast was amazing when they eventually refilled the food but this was only done because i approached a member of staff otherwise we could have waited even longer. Probably wpuldnt return due to the noise unless we were on the opposite side of the hotel which you can not guarantee.
