Check in and check out was seamless. Great staff, bubbly and helpful front desk reception. Room was clean. Lacking shelving, hangers, so was hard to organize our clothes and toiletries. Shared bathrooms very clean. We were only supplied with one towel each for the whole week! TV did not work for us, front reception could not help. They advised us to call the owner, Eliza. Since we were home late on Thursday & Friday, we did not want to call her late. When I did call her on Saturday, she got very rude with me, and said I should have called her before, without giving me a chance to explain. She did say she will try and find someone for Monday, which of course never materialized.

I booked a unit for a large group with kids and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I had a red-eye flight and booked an extra night specifically so we’d have the room when we arrived in the morning. I also informed the hotel in advance that we would be checking in the next day AM. Our flight was delayed and we arrived 1.5 hrs later than what I had originally messaged them— only to find out that the reservation had been canceled because we didn’t check in before 2 AM. The unit was still vacant when we arrived, yet the front desk asked me to call another number. The representative I spoke with was extremely rude and abruptly hung up, repeating that the policy requires check-in by 2 AM. When I called back, they offered to rebook the same unit only if I paid again in cash — essentially charging me twice for the same stay. This was surprising, especially because the hotel also states that they do not accept cash, so it felt like policies were applied very inconsistently. I understand that policies exist for a reason, but the lack of flexibility, poor communication, and unprofessional customer service made this a very stressful situation — especially while traveling with children. I truly hope the management reviews this process for future guests

We have stayed at this building two times before this trip, and have always loved the location & accommodations. However, this particular room was our least favorite by far. The room had decent space for NYC, but it had the least amenities of any room we've stayed in, at this same building, before. We were told we could not have additional towels solely based on booking through Hotels.com, no wash cloths or extra garbage bags were provided. The TV offered basic cable & wifi was an upcharge. Every other room we have chosen offered housekeeping, Roku TVs, wifi, & all linens.

The room amenities are very basic and unfortunately in poor condition. The towels provided were extremely small, barely suitable even for a child, and only one roll of toilet paper was supplied for five guests staying an entire week, which is unacceptable. When we requested additional supplies at the front desk, we were told to contact the person we rented the place from, which was quite inconvenient. I’ve stayed in hostels before, and even they provide basic toiletries such as shower gel and shampoo. The only positive aspect was the location, as it is very convenient and close to everything.

Ideally situated hotel in the middle of manhattan. Rooms are simple bed sink hob microwave tv. Ideal if you are really only using it as a base . Each floor has a shared bathroom which is clean with two showers one cubicle. My personal rating on experience and room is 7/10

Don’t be fooled this is a hostel not a hotel. Individual counter staff tried to be helpful but they’re dealing with multiple businesses and companies and a constant flow of people and it’s hard to get much in the way of communication. The showers were pretty low pressure for water and shared with the whole floor. You never knew who or what was going to get into or out of the elevator. And the “one service per visit” is not *during* the stay - it’s at the beginning of the stay and not again until the end of the stay. Be aware.

Everything around this facility is great even an homeless is great but the property which goes under the guise of Hotel is not a hotel at all, its scam hostel or collection of multiple receptions operating with zero refund policy and an ego problem of epic proportions. Look the game that I could understand was this facility offers a quick access to beds in new york vicinity alongside to different places and 3 min walk from Empire state building that line is the actual gimmick, look when you in New York you hardly need rides when you have subways and everything around walking distance, the place has 6 Receptions zero value, everyone hustling their own clients or scamming, we were visited by Lord Bugs and When we reported to the host of mine which was not among those 6 receptions in the hostel building, She insulted shouted exact words get use to it and gave credentials of Top Bug contractor of the city took care of the building and you all know the state of new york and bugs go hand in hand. And then very conveniently day later someone went through my stuff and luggage when we were not in the room luckily, how do I know it because I found 2 laundry cards in the room one in the bag and one under the bed. Now you would say you should have report it but to whom apparently all of those receptions downstairs total six mind me and none of it was my host’s And on top of it my 9 month baby got extreme rashes from a bug bites I spent 3000 dollars on this sheet. Wish hd Spent elsewhere
