Manager called us during a $600 dinner out to tell me I was locked out of my room that was prepaid then was told we will get a free night now I have to do all sorts of follow up with Expedia to get this right. Beyond belief in a hotel of this caliber this has to go on the property is beautiful, but they should bet their managers a little bit more carefully to me what they say and say what they mean. In addition, we couldn’t go to the rooftop bar because it was “fully committed.” I guess that means they were busy isn’t that what New York is that’s one of the reasons we booked the hotel. So $1000 down the drain for what was supposed to be a special weekend that just turned out to be a headache and an annoyance. I guess if you book on Expedia and something goes wrong don’t expect to get your money back.
