We consider NYC our home away from home. We loved 50 Sonesta. The size of the room, location, staff, it was a very enjoyable stay. We' be returning the beginning of October, and we expect to stay at 50 Sonesta.

We Love the Fifty Sonesta, its where we stay when we go to NYC a couple times a year, The hotel is very conveniently located to Rockefeller Center, Time Square, all the shops on Madison Avenue. The staff is amazing! The doormen are the BEST in NYC, so helpful and kind! The hotel rooms needs a little work, some minor upgrades to the rooms would be nice BUT they are still great and everything you need, especially the Junior Suites with the kitchens! I highly recommend The Fifty Sonesta

Nice hotel but AC was not available in the entire hotel for the duration of our stay. We were told it was a “shoulder” season so no AC. Meanwhile, it was 25 degrees C (80 F) inside due to hot summer-like weather outside. The staff was not helpful and only after several complaints offered us a fan.

Great hotel would definitely return and excellent

I was really worried about this hotel having read some bad reviews just before we came but needn't have been. Hotel was excellent staff amazing and spotlessly clean. Brilliant location too and very safe area to walk and commute. Lots of room in junior apartment with separate kitchen area

The property, even-though it was in the 70s and 80s could not turn off the heat because they were not due to “change over” their HVAC system for one to two weeks. It was so darn hot that we had to move to a different hotel. The rooms were semi-clean. The manager, though, Randolph, was FANTASTIC!
