Updated our info with hotels.com and got an email “all set to go!” When I arrived, Hilton Garden Inn told me the room was cancelled. They provided a list of other hotels and we had to rebook last minute. No apology, no empathy, no accountability.

Clean room. Was put in a handicapped room, don't know why...busy Christmas season, probably. Low sink, etc, but it was ok. Big construction project outside was very loud starting early and ending late...but that wasn't the hotel's fault.

Very nice staff. Room was clean but a little small for 3 adults. We had a small issue with bathroom toilet and their maintenance guy came within 10 minutes of calling about issue. Elevator was faster than anticipated especially since we were on 9th floor. Overall the Hotel was a Great choice for our quick Amazing trip to NYC.

This hotel is walkable to everything for the Christmas season. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are plenty of food options and shopping nearby. Construction noise could be an issue if you are a light sleeper but we loved the hotel.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I stayed here with my husband and our two sons, who were visiting New York for the first time, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The breakfast was overpriced with very limited options, and the dining area had no heat. We almost had to keep our coats on while eating, and the food became cold very quickly. Additionally, there was no option to purchase bottled water, as it was unavailable. The restroom in the hotel was missing basic necessities, including toilet paper and hand soap, which was unacceptable. We were also concerned to see someone sleeping on the floor outside the hotel. The only positive aspect of our stay, and the reason I did not rate the hotel lower, was the front desk associate, she was extremely friendly and helpful.
