Talk about a hidden gem! I was taken aback but this boutique style hotel. I met the manager Andre first then the lovely Fatima. They allowed me to check-in 2 hours earlier which meant the world to me because I was exhausted after visiting with 5 clients this morning. I was given a room on the 5th floor. The rooms are so cute. compact, clean. I mean CLEAN!! the bathroom was adorable, the bed was comfy as h*LL. No issues with the tv. Truly perfection. All the staff was great. Housekeeping, and all the ice I could eat! lol (I'm an ice-eater) There's a great bar lounge downstairs. (free to the hotel patrons) Plenty of near-by restaurants and stores. You can shop, eat, whatever! I still have my 2 complimentary drinks tickets that I'm also able to use at another time. I plan on returning for a Wednesday to show off my karaoke skills. Oh, and don't forget to grab some complimentary coffee/tea as well. *beautiful entry at the lobby **nice smoking area out back ***My hotel of choice for all my quarterly visits NOTE: It's near an elevated train but you won't even notice. I'm a pretty light sleeper when I'm away from home and I slept straight through the night. Give them a try, you won't regret it #Hotel1080 <3

I had a great experience at this hotel and would stay again. Because of where my room was, it was a little noisy which disturbed my sleep a bit. This was due to being located in close vicinity to the bar downstairs and a stairwell door which closed very loudly each time it closed. I would stay again but recommend a different room.

I can’t say enough nice things about this gem of a hotel. The staff are so friendly (for example I misplaced my phone charger and a bellman offered to let me borrow his). The rooms are spotless. The water pressure is fantastic and I love the showers. You get two drink tickets when you check in and they have complimentary coffee in the morning. Checkout is an hour later than most hotels (noon) and the location is great. I love the neighborhood. Bushwick is not fancy but feels alive. The hotel has strong wifi and lots of power outlets in the room. I will be back.

Staff was very nice. The hotel seemed relatively safe. Room was okay. The room was small and the floors were not as clean as they should have been. The tv screen was not clear. The restaurant on the premises does not serve food, even though it says online that it does. It's basically a bar. This place is fine for a night or two, but I would not stay for a full week.

The staff is welcoming and kind. The hotel lacks the bare minimum, like towels, really? There seems to have been a shortage. Every day, something was missing. The smell of Marijuana upon approaching the hotel, in the lobby, and in the elevator is definitely a turn-off. There are also vagrants hanging around every night on the outside, smoking. The TV needs to be updated and the wires checked. It was pixilated and not clear at all. Honestly, the stay was very disappointing! We stayed because the rates on other properties were very high! So we had to suck it up!

Was no remote for tv in the room and when asked for a remote was given one that didn’t work. No cleaning of the room on 2nd day but came at 5pm while the room was occupied to try and clean it. The sink in the bathroom did not drain well. Really appreciated the drink tickets. Very convenient location to the subways.

A really nice find in Brooklyn with excellent bus and subway options nearby. Great bagel, deli, and coffee spots in walking distance. I’ll stay there again.
View out the window. Train passes every few minutes but you barely hear it.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. It’s a cute boutique hotel and I can see how they’re trying to look good for the area. However, my biggest concerns were hearing the music from the bar/restaurant on the first floor up on the third floor until 2am every night. Also, we could hear from a nearby room other guests having sex which isn’t ideal. I believe I tried to book a room not on the subway side of the building but we were placed on that side anyway. The train was the least of our worries with the sound issues. The room was nice but it needs minor maintenance. The door to the bathroom had edges loose, there were some paint spots on the toilet which you don’t see in higher end hotels. We never could find the remote for the tv. We didn’t care that much for watching anything anyway or we would have requested a remote. Even with the shower door closed water was able to seep under and onto the rest of the bathroom floor. Make sure to put a towel down. We didn’t realize until we walked in we could see into the shower from the bedroom which kinda made things awkward between me (male), my husband and my female cousin staying together to save money. We made it work though and overall enjoyed the experience making light of the situation.

I picked this hotel specifically because it was close to the J train, which is convenient to get into Manhattan and to/from the airport. The location also has good restaurants and cafes nearby that is walkable. My problem is with the hotel itself. Check-in time was at 3pm. We came from the airport in the morning and asked to store our luggage while we go and explore. We got back to the hotel at 4pm and was told our room was not ready and it would be a 20 minute wait. That was annoying because we purposely came back later so that our room would be ready. 20 minutes turned into 40 and I had to ask the staff what was the hold up? I was told it was still not ready. Finally, staff came to me and asked if I NEEDED a double room and if I wouldnt mind a queen/twin bed room for my son and I. I settled for the room since we were so tired from traveling and exploring for the day. The original room was on the 5th floor and now we are put in a room on the 2nd floor. Later that night, after going to bed, we hear a DJ turn music on for a party in the attached lounge/bar area. This party lasted until 2am. So not only were we moved from the 5th floor original hotel room, we were given a room ABOVE a club area! This was not communicated to us at all. The NEXT evening, there was no party below BUT there was chaos in the hallway on the 2nd floor, outside of our door with drunk customers. It was the worst 2 nights of sleep and sadly, my son's first time in NY.
