Some hotel staff was great, there was a receptionist that was very short and then one valet driver that had a very poor attitude. We were misled by the pictures of the property, rooms were very cramped and very outdated! And the hotel had the famous landlord special! When we asked to get a different room with possibly a different view and with a microwave, the receptionist was silent and proceeded to tell me he could have a tech come look at the TV. (In which we got the figured out). Location of the hotel was great, we were able to walk to the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Millennium Park, etc.

We were given a key to a room and entered to find a family already in the room. After visiting the front desk again we were given another room. This room didn't have a shower curtain up so we had to wait for that to be brought up to us. The staff was friendly, but feel a little more attention to detail is needed.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Location wasn't awful, being across from Grant Park was nice but it was extremely loud and the hotel had a strange odor inside, even in the rooms (to the point where I had to buy air freshener). The hotel clearly hasn't been updated in a while; lots of peeling paint and stained carpet. My room had mold on the ceiling and again, a really unpleasant odor. The fitness center had several machines, but about half of them had "out of order" signs. The stairs to go to the upper floors are hard to access and seem to be reserved for staff; very difficult for customers to find and actually use when the elevator is taking a long time.

Perfect stay for Lollapalooza

Perfect walking distance away from Grant Park for Lollapalooza, not in the middle of the main entrance. Felt very safe during our stay. Would recommend bringing own pillows or requesting more pillows since the pillows felt flat. Good view, service, and cleanliness

Pillows worn down, linens not fresh, towels not white, internet AWFUL would not connect 90% of the time. Windows in poor condition you hear every noise from outside and I was on the 9th floor.
