Absolutely awful pulsing grinding noise that sounded like a lawnmower starting coming through the bathroom vents for both nights of our stay. The second night the room also had no heat. Neighbourhood full of mountains of trash and sketchy, drug addled people stumbling around the sidewalks. Not safe for a woman alone. Offered a much smaller (cheaper) room to move to that would not fit all of our things, our show dogs things, and our dog. Space heater was the only solution offered otherwise. Desk clerks also seem to think that emailing them your credit card number to pay for a reservation is a safe and secure method of taking payment. Back and forth with them and Expedia and neither will accept responsibility or give a refund despite finger pointing at each other. Hotel thinks $100 fee refund is sufficient and told us to go thru Expedia for further refunds, then denied the refund request despite them saying they had nothing to do with the room refund. Make it make sense. Don't book here. The management is incredibly dismissive and they will not properly compensate you for a nightmare like we had. Expedia is also zero help. $45 in One Key cash for this godawful experience is not acceptable.

I've used Ls Quinta often before. Staff are always polite and accommodations pretty good. Nice breakfast. However the Manhatten site is the first that I've ever encountered thst pumps what smells like Glade air freshener throughout the hotel. My daughter like many other people has a terrible reaction to synthetic fragrrances and developed an instant migraine to the fragrance. We will never stay at that site again. As a matter of fact. If this is where La Quinta is headed, we will no longer use this chain!

Staff was nice. The specific room 503 had some issues. TV didn’t work properly. Shower dial to turn on and adjust temp of water wasn’t installed correctly, so it’s hard to figure out how to get it to do what you want. Biggest issue with this room is that there’s some sort of mechanical device above the bathroom ceiling that makes a terrible racket about every 30 minutes - day and night. When I asked to switch rooms, they did accommodate me the next day. When I reported the noise, they indicated they knew about it, but thought it was already fixed.

I was very pleased with my stay here. Easy check-in, clean room, conveniently located to shops and dining. The breakfast had a nice variety and the service was excellent. The best part was the parking garage across the street. I was nervous driving into the city since I have never done that before. It was so easy!
