Very enjoyable week in Beatriz Costa. Loved pools, one heated, one sea water. Decor tired and dated but all areas very clean. Lovely big rooms, with lots of sun, excellant showers, very good cleaning service with clean towels every day. Breakfast was very good with great selection. A little far..1.7klm from centre , bus provided by hotel a few times a day. Entertainment...games etc by day and music in evening. Wi fi in public areas or 20e weekly. Beach towels provided. Spa in hotel, didnt use..12e per person for jacuzi. Fridge in rooms..although sign up not to use a bit unfair as shoos very far away for cold drinks.

not a hotel for people with any disability

the hotel facilitys for the disabled were nonexistant to me,no blue badge parking. had to use the road on seveal times when evening shows were on to the public half a kilometre walk no lift to the dinning room from our floor,had to ask for sheets to be changed after 4-5 days not good at 4 star.you add on the net is misleading as states meals included on your booking form.I missed that.I think it should read meal.

Four star facilities, two star service

The hotel itself is quite impressive as you walk in, wide spaces with beautiful greenery. Lots of places to sit and relax and shops and bars onsite. We went off-season so it wasn't warm enough to enjoy the outdoor facilities. Rooms are spacious and clean, private balconies for each room. Breakfast and dinner buffets were good with lots of choice and very helpful waiters (I'm vegetarian so they asked the chef to walk around with me and point out everything I could have). Shortage of tea and coffee at breakfast and not available at all at dinner time was the only negative to the food. Reception staff were completely unhelpful, didn't give any information unless asked - about the hotel facilities, times of meals etc. Handed us a folder listing tours and excursion but offered no advice and then refused to assist us in making a phone call to a private tour operator because we hadn't booked through them. A lot of added extras to be aware of on top of the room price (we didn't go all inclusive, that may have made a difference). Not included in the price: wifi in rooms, tea & coffee in rooms, safe deposit box in rooms, use of the indoor pool/spa, no drinking water available in public areas only at meal times. Hotel is about a 20-30 minute walk from the beach and main areas with restaurants and bars. Timetable of the shuttle bus service didn't suit us at all so we walked mostly and took taxis home late at night as the area is quiet and reception offered no advice about safety.

Hotel

Generally it's a good hotel there was always something I liked at lunch and dinner but the soup was only warm and the hot water for making tea was never hot enough , they need to upgrade to automatic water boilers instead of manual fill ones, my wife had to tell the cleaner to vacumn our Room because it had not been done for 5 days , there are plenty of sun beds around the pool,reception staff were very helpful, the restaurant staff are under a lot of stress and it shows on there faces , we had a lovely dinner on New Year's Eve , it's a bit far away from the town centre but we enjoyed the walk into it ,but all in all we had a lovely break .

GREAT VALUE ALL INCLUSIVE WEEK OF RELAXATION

Stayed here in March for an all inclusive week with my husband. Just perfect for a mature couple lots of nightly entertainment at the hotel, fantastic spa, free to all inclusive guests. Great selection of good quality food on offer -veal, chicken, pork, lamb and local fish grilled by the chef every lunch & dinner service to order. Its about 10 minutes walk to the local commercial centre, which is quite a small resort. There are some shops open in the hotel to get newspapers and basic items. This was our first time doing all inclusive it was good value for a relaxing week of sunshine & good food served with fully dressed tables with linen, also food theme nights to break the routine. There is a dress code for dinner to mark the special event, it is well worth getting dressed up for. Staff were very friendly and easy to talk to and helpful to organised taxis. This time of year is quite locally, but it suited us and probably would suit families with kids. Would go back again for a week it was just enough. Hope this was helpful to you. Regards, Geraldine

Schönes Hotel mit extrem lauter Abendunterhaltung

Nachdem ich mir einige Bewertungen im Internet angesehen hatte, wo z.B.die Lautstärke der Abend-Animation bis ca. 11,30 Uhr beschrieben wurde, verlangte ich ein Zimmer im der oberen Etage, das wir auch anstandslos bekamen und sich als super Tip erwies, die Zimmer sind rein und nett, der Teppich ohne Flecken, die Betten sehr gut, leider ein kleiner alter Fernseher, mit nur einem deutssprachigen Programm, es fehlt auch eine Liste welche Programme es geben sollte, da vermutlich einige nicht funktionierten, ein Kühlschrank war nicht vorhanden, die Einbauleuchten ober dem Kasten waren schlecht montiert, (vermutlich beim Wechsel auf LET Lampen passiert) und schauten hervor, das Badezimmer groß und rein, leider war die Kunstoffleiste der Fuge zwischen Badewanne und der Glasabdeckung schimmelig, das Frühstück und Abendessen nicht überragend, aber wir haben immer etwas gefunden das uns sehr gut schmeckte. Parkplatz war vor dem Hotel ausreichend vorhanden.
