Got there early around 1pm met family from out of town. Now i know checkin us 4pm but were there early and didn't get rooms(we had 2 rooms) until after 4pm and that included constant trips to the checkin desk even though we were preregistered and after people coming in and getting their room keys over and over again i was frustrated sincerely. Eventually we were told we were waiting so long for room cleaning and inspection. Well let's talk abt inspection my room had no coffee pot at all had to request and the 2nd room in our party had no glasses in their room or coffee maker. So my question is "what inspection" becz inspection would seen that. With that being said overall good hotel clean respectful and attractive staff once checked in. I had a event planned for 5:30 and this hold up to me seemed unnecessary. Again my stay was good for the most part but revisit or recommend not sure abt that part

The guy that checked us in didn’t like his attitude…whenever you use the face basin or the tub for shower it would fill with water takes a while to go down water would leak on the bathroom floor all they did was give us extra towels I asked for my room to me change they said they can’t do that i hated my stay I will never go back everything was old

I arrived on Monday August 4th around 1:30 p.m. and was told there was no room available and they would call me between 2:30 and 3:00 p.m. well I didn't get a call and I finally got a room at 4:45 p.m. and room number 1918 may have been a converted closet, the TV set was on the side of the bed , the shower stopper button was jammed. This hotel has a great location but I was totally disappointed this time around.

One of the days i stayed was 81 degrees in my room and took all day to even have someone come fix the problem. No fridge, no microwave, no drinking water or anything. Was a horrible experience

There's a shabby tackiness about the place, which I actually found charming. Check-in was difficult, mostly due to the weather, but once I got into my room everything was fine. I put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door and wasn't disturbed the whole five days. I don't require a lot of maintenance. I seldom make my bed at home and didn't feel a need to have it made here. I put all my recyclables in plastic bags and left a box of baking soda in the bathroom. I use it to brush my teeth and to drink when I get heartburn. I like that it's across the street from the Lyceum Theater and there's a nice deli that sells sliced fruit, which I bought several times. All in all, I really enjoyed being there.
