We've stayed here several times over the years and enjoy the convenient location and neighbourhood ambience. The rooms are quite clean and comfortable however some definitely need repairs (e.g., worn kitchen counters and mirror frame, doors). The staff are very helpful and pleasant.

Staff was very accommodating, and having a room with kitchen facilities was great. The bathroom was tiny - not an issue overall but it was actually a bit tricky sitting on the toilet and moving in the shower for someone as tall as me.

The mattress was smaller than the base and bed very soft and uncomfortable. We had trouble with hot water in the shower and rang the 24/7 number. The woman answered in an aggressive manner and continued speaking to us in the same manner, even shouting when we couldn't understand her - upsetting us and making us feel very uncomfortable. We were at the end of a 37 hour journey and all we wanted was a shower and some sleep. Not good customer service, other staff very pleasant.

The outside facade speaks to the history of the property. Modern conveniences were available within our room. The heater, however, churned out too much warmth and was unable to shut it off.

The property is in an excellent location, walking distance of many tourist attractions. The area around the accommodation is lovely, lots of pubs and restaurants. The superior studio we stayed in had a teeny, tiny patio and unlikely to ever see any sun, this wasn’t explained clearly enough in the property description. Rooms are basic, clean but getting a little tired.

Great value, great room, not so great bed.

Cannot fault the room generally, it was clean with excellent amenities. Nice staff and easy entrance/exit. The only thing that wasn't great was the bed, the mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows waffer thin. Our friend in another room did not have this issue, but myself and my partner struggled to sleep. Checking mattresses/pillows for quality more frequently in rooms would be my only negative feedback.
