We checked in to the hotel around 1pm and were told to come back between 2:30-3:00 to check into our rooms. The hotel held our luggage and we went to start exploring Times Square. We returned at 3:00 and the staff continued to tell us “10 more minutes” until we finally received our room keys around 4:30. Frustrating, but the view from the room and the location of the hotel made us quickly forget about the check in mishap. Overall, great stay!

1. Check-in was at 3:00 according to the website. I got to the hotel at 4:20PM, one of the 2 rooms was not ready. Five minutes later the receptionist claimed the room was ready. Once entering the room I realized the bed was undone and someone else was occupying the room. I returned to the Lobby and requested a new room. The receptionist stated that there were no other rooms. A few minutes later she returned and gave me a room that was 10 floors beneath the one I was initially given despite having paid for a high floor room with a view. I made my way to this 2nd room to find out the AC was not working. I called the Lobby and asked to speak to the manager. He was the most unprofessional person I’ve spoken to. He told me to either wait for the engineer to work and fix the AC or leave the hotel without getting a refund because he supposedly didn’t have any other rooms. I returned to the Lobby and asked to speak to the manager in person. He never came to meet me and instead asked the receptionist to assign me to another room. 2. The carpet has likely not been in years and is stained with black spots 3. The bathtub drain was clogged. My husband pulled a clumpy ball of hair and finally the water began to somewhat drain. 4. There was a suspicious white substance on the headboard 5. The butler at the door that was in charge of luggage, Jeffrey, was very dismissive and rude towards customers with questions about the hotel 6. They key cards are a hit or miss for the elevator

Clean hotel in a perfect location. Everyone who worked there was kind and helpful from check in to check out. Many people have said the property was outdated or dirty which was not the case. The rooms were not ultra modern or brand new but who goes to NYC near broadway to hang out in the room? The bed was comfy and clean, the room was huge compared to many other hotel rooms, everything worked and the bathroom was clean. You cannot beat the location for the price and there are plenty of restaurants within the same block so needing one in the hotel is not needed. I highly recommend this hotel.

My stay at the Millennium Hotel was extremely disappointing. The lobby and room were very hot. The room was old, dirty, and in desperate need of renovation - peeling paint, a broken shower, and toilet that almost overflowed. I requested a city view of Time Square but didn't receive it, and the photos online are very misleading. The TV didn't work, and management offered no solution other than saying there were no others rooms available. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and feel the stay was not worth the price.

This might just be New York standard hotel. We chose this hotel knowing it was not going to be fancy but since we are only sleeping and will be gone majority of the day it was worth it. The hotel room is very outdated, you can see it is old and dirty in many places and can’t be cleaned. Water pressure in the tub was so weak. Overall, it is doable if you are just there to sleep otherwise if you want to enjoy the room and feel clean walking around then this is NOT it.

It’s in the heart of Manhattan and is literally walking distance to everywhere and has an amazing view. The only issues were that the room was very unkept with thick layers of dust everywhere, the curtains didn’t keep the light out, the air didn’t work for half our stay, the tub had hair in it and wouldn’t drain properly, the furniture, walls, and doors were damaged quite a bit, the restaurant in the hotel is shut down, and yes it’s loud, but New York is the city that never sleeps!

Arrived 3am airlines were delayed only to find out that our room was not available and we had to go to another hotel.
