Excellent location—so close to everything. Rooms are small, but they use the space very well. Wasn’t thrilled about the mandatory “Destination Fee,” but the bar and cafe where we could use our daily credit at were decent. The vibe of the hotel is very young and the messaging was a bit sexualized…not a place catering toward kiddos. Overall, a good experience and we would definitely stay again.

I felt safe inside, the staff was extraordinarily friendly, and we could put our luggage in the luggage area while we went out for breakfast and waited for our flight. Overall, this was an excellent stay.

Ok, but be aware of extra costs.

Booked through Hotels.com and was expecting all paid for but there was additional 50$ for the booking due to some taxes levied on us for being in New York. Seems a bit strange and unexpected. Rooms fairly small, but I guess that’s normal for NYC. The lift was very confusing. So took some time to figure it out.

Quirky, but nice, well-managed property. Rooms are small, but then it is in the Times Square area. We did find that sounds from the 2nd floor bar were fairly loud at times in our 3rd floor room. Suggest people ask for rooms on upper floors.

I stayed at the moxy recently and it was an amazing experience. This was my first time visiting NYC and the location of the moxy was so convenient and nearby everything. The hotel was super accessible and I was able to do so much. The staff is also nice and the room is always kept clean.

Great hotel!

The hotel was very nice. Kind of young and hip but worked out well for our family with children. Very close to the Empire State Building and other attractions in Nee York. The bathrooms were a bit weird as when I looked up, I could see into the bathroom with the door closed when someone was in there. That was the only flaw.
