I really don't write any reviews, but this hotel deserves it. From the time we arrived to check-out time everything was great. Jose at check-in was great, he was able to give us early check-in since our flight arrived at 8:30am. The room was big, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was simple but very delicious. The location was great too. I do have to say that the only downfall was the fact that this property only has 1 elevator and one of our nights it wasn't working, we had the 8th floor, but a would definitely stay here again.

The room was not cleaned. T he elevator broke down, forcing us to walk down five flors using the stairs. In addition, the area where breakfast is served needs better cleaning. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

The elder Spanish woman with glasses was extremely rude. Assuming I was under age and unaware of the hotel policies - my mother had to visit the property to set the record straight. I do not like to be spoken to as if I’m a child when I’m 29 years old. Breakfast was nasty. They had limited food options and the server didn’t allow you to pour your own syrup. Everything was hidden and locked away. Very limited and stingy

Clean apartment in very good location , good breakfast and very good people manning the front desk. I also extended my stay and they managed to keep me in same room which was really helpful.

Excellent stay for a large family at a reasonable price. Our room was equipped with everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It had a great variety of choices even though the same thing is offered every day. Excellent location. Just a couple of blocks from Rockafeller and St. Patrick's Cathedral. My only concern was with a broken window in our room that allowed a cold draft and a lot of external noise from the street.

I would stay here again but I read it had been renovated and I am unsure it has been. I don’t have any complaints. Everyone was ok and we had some hiccups that I feel were out of anyone’s control and the price is NYC at Christmas. Just a lot of money regardless where we would have stayed. It worked for 5 of us and again, depending on other hotel availability…I would stay here again. No complaints. It’s a solid 3 star hotel. Perhaps make the queen that has an en suite bathroom into a king rather than having two queens beds in the PH. Just a suggestion.

The hotel had a quaint, family feel. The front desk staff were very sweet, and the staff at the breakfast room were quick to help any of the kids there. I was hesitant about the location, but it turned out to be the best option. We were close enough to the action, but far enough away as well to have a quiet sanctuary from the busyness of the city. We started off with a bit of a rough start, but the team at the Bayard went above and beyond to work with my family to ensure the best stay possible. I would definitely stay there again.
