Rooms were a bit outdated, but clean. We did run into an issue with no running water and the elevator not working for about 6-8 hours. Out of control for the hotel but it did disrupt our comfort. Thankfully it happened the last night of our stay.

They put me in a room with a noise problem they already knew about and was not resolved by a visit from a handiperson. Then the front desk clerk gave me a difficult time changing my room.

The hotel is ok — it’s a place to sleep. If you’re placed on the second floor, ask for a higher one immediately or you’ll clearly hear the restaurant’s music next door. I called to be moved and was told there were no rooms available and “don’t worry ma’am, the music will be off at 1am.” No paying guest should have to wait until 1am to get proper rest. For nearly $1,000, I expected better soundproofing and a more proactive solution. Guests placed on the second floor should honestly be discounted due to the noise. On our last day there was also a power outage — no heat, elevators down, and some rooms had no water. This is a 12-floor building, so guests on higher floors had to walk the stairs. When I asked how they were accommodating guests, I was told we’d have to wait for the general manager in the morning. Overall, not worth the price and I would not recommend.
