This hotel was nice. Pretty charming on the outside. Room was clean. Our view wasn’t very good, beds were comfortable. Lots of options for eating & proximity to Subway. Would stay here again

What a beautiful gem. The Gregorian is a boutique French-style hotel tucked away on a quiet street in heart of Midtown. Great restaurants and a bakery within a few steps. We cannot wait to come back and will be booking this hotel for every visit to the city. Chef’s kiss, five stars!

Location is very busy very noisy , staff not pleasant , room noisy very thin walls was next to the elevator & it smelled of mold & was humid even the carpet was wet . No ventilation in the room Room made us feel so claustrophobic it had the smallest window overlooking 3 walls a couple of meters away we ended up putting the shades down all the time Previous reviews were incorrect most likely done by the hotel themselves Will not stay here again Very disappointed in Expedia giving it a 9.2 rating

Great hotel- amazing location

Great little botique hotel in the heart of mid town. Walkable to everything!! Super clean, friendly staff, comfy beds. Only complaint is that it’s on a loud street with traffic noises starting at six am, but maybe that’s just New York living!

This is my second time staying at the Gregorian. The location was great and nearby restaurants and shopping. The in-house dining is superb. I loved how relatively quiet the room was. The front desk is staffed with folks that are knowledgable of the area and problem solvers for any issues you might have (I witnessed them helping other people). Well worth it if you are visiting New York.

Great property centrally located and within walking distance of most of the main attractions. We had a street facing room which was a great size for a New York City hotel. Really comfortable bed, bathrobes, fridge, free bottled water, an iron and hairdryer in the room and good size bathroom with great shower. Room cleaned and towels changed daily. Couldn’t fault the hotel it was great and we really enjoyed our weeks stay. The only slight downside was the traffic noise early morning but I think you get that anywhere in New York irrespective of where you say. Great burger and shake bar immediately across the road and plenty bars and restaurants within a 5/10 minute walking distance from the hotel. Would recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to avoid the really busy Times Square area.

It was a great location and quite honestly a nice hotel. A little disappointing though, my reservation included 2 drinks at the bar, the bar itself had been closed for months. Additionally upon arrival, our bags were left in the bar area and not secured. Aside from those issues which are easily rectified, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

I chose the Gregorian based on all the great reviews I read, especially the cleanliness. I was not disappointed with how clean and how nice and engaging the staff was. I stayed with my family and it was my kids' first trip to NYC and this was a perfect location to walk he city and see all the highlights NY has to offer! My only complaint would be that the beds and pillows were way too soft and not great for our backs. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!!!
