The hotel was absolutely fine, beds comfortable but rooms very small and not much in the way of sound proofing or storage. Roof terrace was amazing and had beautiful views of the city. The hotel is staffless and they email you after you’ve booked (in my case a non refundable room) and they send an email requesting ID and credit card information which ebookers specifically say not to provide! No luggage storage either which I wouldn’t have picked if I’d known.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of my visit to America ( my first time visiting New York). The hotel is situated on the main road of Houston St about 30 seconds to the nearest subway (F train) providing good links to the rest of Manhattan. The hotel is not appealing from the outside however the staff were welcoming and willing to help at all times during my stay which was pleasing. The room was cleaned to a reasonable standard and was very small however it had all the necessities, and from other reviews, I understand small rooms are the norm in New York. I mainly used the room to sleep and shower so was not overly concerned by this. The only negative note was you could hear the draining/water system running through the hotel which can be off putting at night. This may have been due to the reonovations going on at the time. In addition, at night and early morning you could hear the noise from the main road which again can be distracting especially for light sleepers. Overall for the price and location, the hotel met my expectations and the service was to a good standard. I will opt for somewhere closer to midtown next time though.

Hotel in nächster Nähe der U-Bahnstation. Was nicht gefallen hat, ist, dass die ganze Woche das Zimmer nicht gemacht wurde und kein Handtuchwechsel vorgenommen wurde. So 1 x pro Woche darf dies gerne geschehen.
