Cramped room in a dodgy part of town - not 4 star

Overall, the hotel is much closer to a 2 star hotel than 4. The pictures are extremely flattering and don't provide a real sense of how small the bedroom and dining area is. I could forgive a small space if it was used efficiently but the furniture, shower and even the doors are in desperate need of replacing. My advice would be to only use this hotel if you're a solo traveller staying for one night and the price is comparable to those 2-3 stars nearby. For reference, we paid c£95 per night and felt short changed.

The staff were super friendly & helpful but our superior room with balcony - not one you could stand or sit on - was pretty small with 3 coat hangers and a shelf each. The hotel was a good 20 minute walk from the Promenade des anglais, and therefore the restaurants etc

Poor bathroom cleanliness

We were happy enough with the hotel room but unfortunately the bathroom was not very clean at all. The shower head was visibly dirty and mouldy (?) and the shower itself was also not clean around the edges. We asked to be moved to another room and we were upgraded to a room in the ground floor. That was a little better but the shower drain was still not that clean which was disappointing. Would definitely recommend redoing the bathrooms!

Disappointed

A lovely hotel but a bit lacking Shower was broken so wouldn’t hold up, toilet only half flushed and the door wouldn’t double lock from the inside. The staff told me it didn’t need to as it was a key card but I pointed out every other hotel I’ve stayed in has the ability to lock Quite a lot of dust
