Malangen Resort
"Beautiful place by the fjords. Blessed to see the northern lights both nights that we were there by just stepping outside the hotel restaurant and out at our cabin balcony. Absolutely amazing and hassle free. Restaurant offered nice meals. We were 9 traveling together. 6 of us stayed at a beautiful cabin and 3 at the hotel. Staff very nice and helpful. Manager very kindly offered help to my daughter when my granddaughter needed medical attention. He drove them to the medical facility, waited and drove them back. He was truly a Good Samaritan. We are forever grateful. Malangen is beautiful but it is a secluded place. Be prepared. No taxis, other restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy… just the hotel, cabins and nature to enjoy. Also you need to be prepared to haul your luggage from the hotel reception to your cabin. But overall it is worth the visit. Highly recommend it. We went from Tromso in the shuttle buses they offer. A nice 1 1/2 hour ride "
