When visiting our daughter at Berkeley we always stay here. It’s nice to have a kitchen and extra room. The gym is small. The pool area is not luxury, but nice. It’s a clean and quiet hotel. The breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s close to Trader Joe’s, Starbucks and Core Power yoga.

Emeryville Hotel

The hotel was fine - and the positive things were good shower, very clean room, ample room to unpack, very little noise coming from other rooms or the hallway, nice buffet breakfast. The one negative was that the hotel was right across the street from an Amtrak train station. Although it was disclosed in the website, nevertheless it was very disturbing to hear the train whistles as late as 10:30 PM and as early at 6 AM/.

Weekend in Emeryville

This was a stop on our train trip. we picked this hotel because it is across the tracks from our stop. It is a very nice place. We did have a few issues but nothing major. I would stay there again. Very comfortable bed.

The property and team members were great, but the management failed to advise anyone, even it's own staff, that they were doing 2 days of fire alarm testing. Working nights, I was VERY upset not getting to sleep for 2 days, and actually evacuated the building on the first alarm... This is no way to treat your guests.

5 stars alone for daily room service: didn’t know that happened anymore outside of super pricey places. Plenty of dining options—check out nearby Public Market—though not of the neighborhood, locals type on Telegraph Rd.

I did like the property and room cleanliness. However, did witness from our hotel room homeless man with pants down by train. Had to make sure my children wouldn't witness that. So, safety can be an issue at times. The front desk, employee was extremely rude anytime we needed assistance. Check in, etc. Everyone else came in contact was courteous and professional. Nevertheless, be aware of train and family safety when leaving hotel. Be vigilant.
