I liked the ocean view and amenities. I didn't like that the walls were so thin. I was woken up and my relaxation suffered because of screaming children and loud parents yelling. I really just wanted to relax.

All in all, we enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Grand. The bathrooms and carpeting are in need of updates but clean and useable. Some of the advertised food specials at the in house restaurants were not available. The dividers between rooms on the balcony do not provide any privacy or division of space. I would consider this a safety problem. The ocean front view was beautiful. We would stay at the Grand again.

Kyle checked me in. He was very knowledgeable. He offered me multiple parking passes. Which was a great help. My son stayed at another hotel and he would check in on me. He said he may book next year with The Grand. We watched the parade of custom antique cars from our balcony. I had a great view. The toilet in the room wouldn’t flush and I called the front desk and they sent someone up to fix the problem. The power went out and the hotel went dark for a short time but no fault of their own. It was the power company working out on the road. I got a Great deal through Expedia.

It is an older hotel could use some updating but our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very small though. The staff was professional and friendly. The location off the boardwalk is very convenient and there is a large, free parking garage just across from the hotel.
