Welcome to Purnell House, an oceanfront retreat in the heart of midtown Ocean City, offering beautiful north-facing beach views and an unbeatable central location.
Inside, you’ll find a thoughtfully updated interior designed for comfort and convenience. The fully remodeled kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and all-new self-closing Shaker-style cabinetry. It’s well equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners, with an eight-slice convection toaster oven (large enough for a small-to-medium pizza) and a Keurig K-Duo coffee maker that accommodates both K-cups and full pots.
The home also includes two remodeled bathrooms, fresh paint, new flooring throughout, a new dining set, updated entertainment center, and brand-new comforters, blankets, and shower curtains. Both bedrooms are outfitted with wall-mounted 32” flat-screen TVs, while the living room features a 55” flat-screen—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.
Step outside and enjoy the oceanfront setting with an outdoor swimming pool, just steps from the sand. With Coastal Highway less than a block away, you’re surrounded by restaurants, shops, nightlife, miniature golf, and everyday conveniences. The Ocean City Boardwalk, Convention Center, and Seacrets are all within two miles, making this an ideal home base for exploring everything OC has to offer. You’ll also enjoy easy access to the Ocean City Expressway and the Assawoman Bay Bridge, just one block west.
Please note: EV charging is not available or permitted on the premises. Nearby public charging stations are located at 100th Street bayside, 40th Street bayside, and at Royal Farms and Wawa in West Ocean City.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
