Too much money, for such a terrible experience

It started with my Granddaughter and l doing our inspection, she did bathroom, l did bedroom! In the bathroom there were two strains of hair in tub location and floor, Dried Blood was found going down outside of toliet. The day we checked out about 15 mins prior to time, l used restroom one last time, got ready to wash hands and water had bern turned off. We had to use hotel wash cloth to clean up dried blood which we out in the trash! Not satisfied with my stay that night. Also the water could be noisy, shower did not allow water to drain properly, do you were standing in the water. Not impressed, actually disappointed, especially your Hotel Brand.

Expected better

Purchased the king size room and was given a double queen size room. Do not expect to get what you paid for. They do not serve waffles on the weekends. I was looking forward to having some. There was a wet stained spot on one of the beds and they said it was from their dryer.

The coffee was good, as was breakfast. Enjoyed real glasses and coffee mugs in room. I forgot a pair of shoes and staff kep them until I returned: going the extra mile.

We were woken up at 3 am the first night of our stay by arguing from a couple down the hall. I tried to call the front desk several times, but no answer. Finally went downstairs around 4, and the front desk worker was on the phone with another person complaing about the same disruption. She took my room number down and added it to a sticky note. But told me there was nothing the hotel could do about the disruption. Almost every other person on our floor was out in the hallway because it was so loud. The next morning, I tried to talk to a manager, but was told there wasn't one on duty yet. They were already gone when I returned back that afternoon. The current employee at the front desk was very nice and apologized, but said the overnight emeployee did not leave a note about the event at all.

Check in lady was a little rude when i was wondering why i was charged so much. They had a parking on property fee that i was not informed about. Room was not great, fingernail clippings in different parts of the room. Mini fridge barely chilled anything, even on max cold. Shower drained so slow you had to stand in a puddle. Paint on ceiling of the bathroom was peeling pretty bad. Lots of areas around edges of beds and couch that have never been cleaned. A/c in room was very inconsistent. Pillows were terrible, but the beds were average. So much street noise cars, motorcycles, sirens, and people outside yelling most of the night. Lots of homeless tents in the alleys around hotel and people sleeping on the sidewalks. The pool is pretty small and shallow, and there is no hot tub.

Great stay!

Great location in the heart of the Old Market area of Omaha with convenient parking. The staff was exceptionally friendly and cordial. The free breakfast was a real treat. Would recommend to anyone without reservation.
