The rooms themselves are dated and the hallways throughout were smokier than other hotels we stayed at, which was the only downside. If you want to experience what Namba brings - buzzling with street vendors ,shops , restaurants then this is the place to be , easy access ( walking ) to train stations , Dotonbori , Kuromon market and easy train rides to nearby attractions , excellent staff , excellent breakfast, laundry lounge is a huge plus and is free! , there is also a guest lounge which offers free alcohol, coffee ,tea and light snacks every night - well worth the money - you won’t find this in Tokyo
