All was fine. What was frustrating was communication prior to my stay. I called to confirm my booking because I was going to arrive later in the evening. It took me 10 minutes to get through Hilton's poorly designed and automated phone response-and-hold system before I could reach a human. That human was helpful, but all he could do is call the hotel and get back to me with a response. Customers should have a way to call the hotel directly. Very frustrating.

This 2 night trip involved 2 children, 2 mothers and 2 grandmothers. Our choice of a suite served grandma's a little bit of peace for a nap by closing the bedroom door. We spent time in Ottawa to start our Holiday shopping. Returning to a room that could accommodate all of the daily purchases and room for the children to play together was a blessing. The fridge held a full 2 ltrs of milk, yogurt, bottled water, fruit and left over dinner. The boys loved the pool and the wonderful variety of pool toys for the children! Well thought of!! Of course, while shopping the world evolved around The Hotel. The 2 boy's questioned when we going back to the hotel? Can we go to the pool, can we have snacks at the hotel? Can I push the button (elevator)? We enjoyed our stay, and would stay again.

Room was clean but old, needs an upgrade. Staff was polite. Breakfast…as a mid tier hotel in the Hilton chain , could be much better. Though in par with the other hotels around the area… Holiday Inn, Hamilton Inn there is a bit of a premium paid for this hotel. Scrambled egg was under cooked! Not happy!! Don’t think I will stay here again. Was surmised that there was no vault in the room.
