Not bad

Our stay was overall good but our air conditioner didn’t work very well at it was 78 degrees in our room during the night. Breakfast was disappointing. But had a good stay otherwise.

Room was unclean when arrived - dirty towels in closet. Room not tidied during the day, complained. Staff said it would be completed as we left for dinner. When we returned at 10pm it was still not done. Leaves concern for it the room was ever properly cleaned before we arrived.

We had a couple of issues. Our room was never cleaned or stocked with new bathroom items, even after the 3rd day and us even putting a their "please service" sign on our door. We had to go down to the front to ask for more bathroom items. Also, one of the main lights in the bedroom was burned out. We overheard another gentlemen at the front desk mention several problems with his room. Overall the hotel is nice, but they need to improve their building maintenance and give the room service person a kick in the pants.

We requested hugh floors but was placed on the groung floor. They said that the request was not shared by Expedia with them. But Expedia is claiming that the request was shared. Too noisy. The house keeping staff was taliking loudly and it could be heard from inside our room. Woke us up early in the morning. The room we were in was located in a busy area. We canceled all our upcoming reservations in August at this hotel. Coming back to Ottawa but not at this hotel.

My car was stolen last night at 2 AM from the parking lot and we were stranded. The hotel staff was very helpful and contacted OPP. The security camera didn't cover the whole parking lot and couldn't capture the culprit. The hotel offered us a discounted rate if we wanted to stay for another night.

First we didn’t have any refrigerator in our room, which the site said it had one, we had to change in other room with refrigerator and the smell of that room was terrible smelled dirty carpet or animals. Bathrooms too small of vanity.
